The Executive Director of Advertising plans and implements advertising, related marketing and communication activities for two major casino brand marketing and positioning efforts located in the Northeast US, as well as for other Company enterprises.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility and relevant experience in  Advertising, Marketing or Communications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This General Manager will oversee a front of house staff of 25, and back of house staff of 7.  The Food and Beverage volume is $300,000 monthly.

Must have at least 6 years in a similar or related position in a luxury hotel with over 500 rooms; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience required. Previous experience in a unionized environment a plus.

Direct operations for assigned departments which may include, but are not limited to, the Front Desk, Guest Services, VIP Registration, Bell Services, Valet Services, Transportation, Business Center, and employee development and training.

Five or more years in hotel operations managerial experience in a major hotel resort complex required. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration or Business Management required.

Evaluates the profitability of the Database Marketing programs. Analyzes the active database growth and increases database size and value. Develops and executes approved Database Marketing programs. Adjusts marketing strategies and plans to meet changing conditions due to market and competition. Develops report formats with Analysis Department to improve data reports and integrity. Develops and implements departmental budgets and forecasts. Monitors monthly programs to ensure both revenue and expenses are within budget.

Bachelor’s degree required as well as a minimum of 10 years of casino marketing experience. Must be fluent with and have a current working knowledge of Microsoft Office software using it regularly. Must have 5 years proven management experience with a team of 5 or more employees. Must understand and use database management and analysis tools. Must have a minimum 5 years experience managing database marketing programs in the casino gaming industry. Must have demonstrated multi-channel casino marketing experience and skills with a proven track record of increasing patrons responses and ROI. Must maintain a flexible work schedule, willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rearrange vacations as needed.

Direct and organize the Food and Beverage function within the hotel to ensure high standards of Food and Beverage quality, service, and merchandising to maximize profits. Participate in total hotel management as a member of the Executive Committee.

High school or equivalent education required, and a Bachelor’s degree and multilingual ability preferred. Must have several years of experience in overall Food and Beverage operations, as well as management experience; and a background in Culinary, Sales, and Service.

Direct oversight of all Player Development departments for all properties. Maintain a sales contact system for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of sales efforts to players. Recruit high-level Player Development executives and measure the effectiveness of their contributions; as well as oversight of all Hosts, Executive Hosts, Player Development executives, and appropriate Administrative personnel.

College degree preferred. Must have at least 10 years of experience in executive-level casino positions, preferably in marketing and/or credit at high-volume casinos; as well as excellent customer service and talent relation skills. Must understand and practice measurement principles in terms of the effectiveness of sales efforts.

Responsible for overall management of accounting, payroll, and receiving functions.

An MBA or CPA is required. Previous casino experience and 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training is preferred.

Responsible for maximizing hotel and casino revenue, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting. Must be able to develop strategic concepts that drive revenue and maximize EBITDA, and must be knowledgeable in automated Revenue Management systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required, with an emphasis in statistics, accounting, or marketing preferred. Must have 3 to 5 years of relevant operations experience in a major hotel/resort in a management role, with experience in the successful application of financial analysis and accounting principles and theories.
